BOCA RATON, Fla. — The Second Annual Saint Andrew’s Winter Classic Tournament & Camp will occur on Friday-Monday, January 16-19, at Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton, Fla.
In addition, a free water polo coaches, referees and parents education program will occur during the event. Participants may attend as many sessions as desired with on-site signups permitted. To email for the free education program, email Mike Schofield at schofieldmike1@gmail.com.
Among the instructors during the weekend are Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Hall of Fame coaches Mike Schofield (United States Naval Academy) and Ted Bresnahan (Johns Hopkins University), along with CWPA Collegiate Club officiating assignor Mike Francis, CWPA Hall of Fame goalkeeper Peter Sabbatini (Princeton University), International Swimming Hall of Fame member/Saint Andrew’s Aquatics Director Sid Cassidy, former Cornado High School (Calif.) head coach Randy Burgess, Florida High School Association (FHSA) senior official Mike Naughton and Gulliver Prep/Miami Riptides head coach/former Florida International University men’s collegiate club head coach Carroll Vaughan.
