About the EWPL League

Established in 1988, the Eastern Water Polo League has gone through several iterations and now operates during the summer in the Philadelphia area.

Eastern Water Polo League General Info

Who: Athletes must be 18 years of age and older at time of competition

When:  July 2026

Where: Villanova University, Pool is located on the corner of Lancaster Avenue and Ithan Avenue.

Summer Season Fees 

$75     Enter as an individual player and be placed on a team

$625   Enter as a Team (need at least six players)

To participate you must be a member of American Water Polo. To Register, click here 

To enter as a team:
Send a check to American Water Polo, 129 West 4th St., Bridgeport PA 19405. Include a roster of at least six athletes. Deadline to enter is June 23.

To enter as an individual athlete:
Step 1 Go to Join Now (top left corner of website) and select “Athlete” In first dropdown window
Step 2 In second dropdown select “Greater Philadelphia Summer League, Individual Athlete Registration”
Step 3 Select “1” for Quantity and complete remaining information

You must also register as an American Water Polo Member (membership good for a year)
All participants must be active American Water Polo members .

Insurance Must be AWP member
