BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Located in Zimbabwe, Peterhouse Boys & Girls School – a premier boarding high school in Africa – seeks experienced water polo coach(es) for Boys & Girls Teams aged 13 – 18 years old for the September/October/November 2020 season. Employment is for three months only with previous officiating experience a definite plus.
Ideal candidate(s) are interested in gaining a once-in-a-lifetime “African experience” while coaching.
Coaches will live on the safe, beautiful high school campus with two game parks abundant with zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, eland, sable, impala and other non-dangerous plains game (except for the cheeky baboons). The campus offers lots of amenities: two gyms, four pools, 14 tennis courts, seven squash courts, five basketball courts, endless soccer/hockey/rugby fields and scenic mountain biking/hiking/running trails through the game parks.
Perks include the use of two school-owned weekend cottages in the beautiful Nyanga mountains, a surprisingly fun social life, lifelong friendships and connections to the tight-knit Zimbabwe water polo community.
Safaris and houseboat trips “where the wild things are” are a big part of the “Zim” lifestyle and can be arranged.
Candidates should be ready to eat, live and sleep water polo while coaching teams in weekly tournaments nationwide for a busy three months in the most beautiful African setting imaginable.
