1st Annual North-South Spring Challenge Flyer (PDF)

BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — North Carolina Water Polo will host an 18-team youth water polo event in Cary, North Carolina, featuring 18U, 14U, and 12U divisions on Saturday-Sunday, April 28-29.

This is a unique opportunity to bring together programs from Maryland, Virginia, Washington D.C., North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and beyond with hopes of making this an annual event with more teams each year.

Games will be at Triangle Aquatic Center and are tentatively scheduled to begin at Noon on Saturday, April 28, and conclude during the afternoon of Sunday, April 29.  The pool features two, 25-yard all-deep courses, while clocks will run with six-minute stop time.

High School teams will play four games and the entry fee is $450.  14U and 12U teams will play at least three games and the entry fee is $350.  The tournament will be sanctioned through American Water Polo and weekend memberships will be available.
