BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — The Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) and American Water Polo (AWP) are sponsoring a regional referee clinic on Sunday, June 24 at Mason High School (1001 S. Barnes Street) in Mason, Michigan, to help local referees and coaches gain an understanding of how water polo is officiated. The cost of the clinic is $10 with attendees receiving lunch and a padfolio.
The clinic is open to either any coach or referee that seeks to improve their knowledge and skill set (referees should bring their whites, as they will be working scrimmages in the afternoon).
Content will be geared towards the level of the participants and will be conducted by National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Championship official Scott Voltz.
To register by Thursday, June 21, contact Matt Latham at gbwingswim@gmail.com.
