BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — Bluff City Water Polo will host a new players clinic on August 20 from 9:00 a.m.-to Noon at St George’s Aquatic Center (1800 Wolf River Blvd, Collierville, Tenn.). Check in will occur from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m.. Athletes must be able to complete a 50-yard swim without assistance.
The rules and fundamentals of water polo will be taught during the first half of the clinic, with athletes then split into teams for scrimmages the second half. Registration is free.
The Tennessee water polo season runs from August until the first week of October. This season, Crosstown High School, St. Benedict’s, Brentwood High School and Collierville High School. Attendance at the clinic will ensure athletes that do not have a team will be placed on one of the sponsoring schools’ rosters.
