BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — American Water Polo (AWP) mourns official Greg Hallisey who passed away during the evening of Friday, August 7, following an illness.
“I am very saddened by the news about his passing,” stated AWP founder Dan Sharadin.
“I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and working with him for a decade and you could not find a kinder and more professional referee than Greg. He always had the athletes’ best interest in mind. He was selfless, with a willingness to officiate wherever he was needed, regardless of the assignment. Our deepest condolences go out to his wife Cece and his three daughters at this most difficult time.”
