IRVINE, Calif. — A dermatology research team from the University of California-Irvine School of Medicine is conducting a study to assess hair health in water-related athletes. This project will help the student research team learn about the field of sports dermatology and shape their training as we aspire to become future dermatologists.

The team seeks to better understand what happens when people spend a lot of time in the water, help diagnosis skin and hair health conditions early, and help develop future therapies if any are needed.

To assist in this endeavor, the research team seeks participants in a survey

Participation Details:

  • 6-minute survey about swim habits and hair health
  • All responses anonymous and confidential
  • Voluntary, but highly encouraged participation
  • Information used to advance the field of dermatology

The survey is available by CLICKING HERE.
