Tony Azevedo will introduce athletes to carefully chosen dryland exercises, in-the-water drills and water polo fundamentals. At the end of the day, the athletes will play games in a final four format, with coaching and feedback from Tony + team. In addition, Tony will introduce his new standardized athlete development system: a data-driven program that monitors an athlete’s progress over time which allows for individual feedback and the necessary follow-through to achieve real results.
Athletes will complete the water polo Combine (8 drills). Data will be used to create profiles on Tony’s Combine App. Goal is for athletes to be re-evaluated every six months. They will follow a video-based tiered program on the App to improve specific skills and fundamentals. System allows Tony and team to test athletes, engage with them directly, and provide individualized feedback
