BRIDGEPORT, Pa. — In the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak, we want to be certain every precaution is being taken to safeguard our athletes, administrators, officials, and their families. By following the guidelines set forth by the CDC we can restrict the spread of the virus. This includes limiting public gatherings and canceling leagues and tournaments. We strongly support these measures to keep everyone safe.
We also understand this may create a problem for some of our clubs. Although our membership lasts for the entire year, some of you are registering with American Water Polo to compete in events that will only occur in the immediate future. Consequently, you have joined the organization to play in tournaments that will not take place.
We believe to our core that your satisfaction is the most important reason we exist. While we cannot recreate the tournaments, we can offer you a refund of your membership fee. Feel free to contact the office if this is your situation. We will send you a refund and you can keep the reward as our gift to you.
Our hope is that our entire membership remains safe and we will soon be back in the pool. Until then, feel free to check out our website for new Tips of the Week.
